Xsolla Developer Scholarship Program – Cologne 2026 is designed to break down barriers that prevent talented game developers from experiencing gamescome to its fullest.
Selected recipients will get:

Open to emerging developers and small independent studios with a game currently in active development — any stage from early concept to near release, with winners being announced on July 27, 2026.
Before applying, make sure you meet all of the following:
• I am 18 years of age or older
• My team has 10 or fewer full-time members
• My studio has shipped no more than 1 commercial game to date
• My studio does not have an active publishing deal with a major publisher
• My submitted game has not been commercially released (including Early Access)
• I have not previously received a comparable Xsolla travel scholarship
• I am able to travel to Gamescom Cologne, Germany, August 24–28, 2026
I hold a passport that does not require a visa to enter Germany or I already hold a valid Schengen visa covering August 24–28, 2026
• I am able to submit a playable build and a gameplay video with my application
If you cannot confirm all of the above, you are not eligible for this scholarship.
Each Xsolla package has an approximate retail value of 2500 Euro, which includes a Gamescom pass and four (4) nights of hotel accommodation in Cologne.
